Video Production Services of Iowa now offers customers who live outside southeast Iowa a "Transfer Kit" for sending photographs, slides, 8mm and 16mm film or videotapes to be transferred to DVD.
The kit includes a box for mailing, organizational labels and a questionnaire to inform us of what services you would like performed.
Once we receive your materials, we will be in contact with you to go over your order and instructions and will promptly mail you the completed project.
There is no charge for the "Transfer Kit".  You may request the kit by clicking here.
Those interested in book a wedding online may now do so through the VPS website.  You may make a tentative booking of your wedding by completing the online form located here. We will confirm your request within 24 hours of submission.
While submitting the form alone does not guarantee your wedding has been reserved for videotaping by VPS but it does give you first preference if the date of your wedding has not already been taken.
VPS will send you a contract to sign which will confirm your wedding date.
A fifty percent deposit is required when signing the contract. There is also a mileage charge for weddings over 35 miles from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
VPS recently collaborated with students in the Advanced Video Production Class at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant to create short videos, accessed by QR codes on a smart for phone or tablet,  for Midwest Old Threshers to use in their museum buildings.
VPS provided all of the footage for the project. Students then used the footage to create the video clips. VPS has been filming videos for sale at Old Threshers since 1986. That's a lot of footage!
QR codes will be placed on large signs in various locations throughout the museum buildings. Once scanned, visitors can watch machinery in action. For example, the QR code at the JI Case 11o steam engine takes the viewer to a video of the engine steaming along  at the Old Threshers Reunion and also gives additional factual information about it.

Need aerial footage of your event, factory or farm? VPS can do it for you! Our Phantom helicopter is small but produces fantastic results without the expense of hiring a licensed pilot.

To meet an emerging demand for recording accommodations, VPS has expanded our facilities  to provide for an audio recording studio.  Now it is possible for those wishing to record high quality sound, whether musical or vocal, and edit, transpose or burn their selections to CD or other forms of media.
The recording studio is complete with numerous high quality mics, line and midi inputs and a control room with computer and analogue mixing capabilities.
Reservations for the use of the recording studio can be made by calling VPS at (319) 385-2041.
